Brocket Deer Hunts

Snook Inn Hunting also offers hunts for the Grey Brocket deer that inhabit this part of the Yucatan peninsula. Known for their secretive and elusive nature, this diminutive specie weigh only 35-50 pounds.  Hunting is done by spot and stalk or in blinds set up near water or known travel areas.  Brocket deer may be hunted separately or as an add-on to the Ocellated turkey hunt.

Mayan Ruins
When you come to Mexico, a trip to visit one of the many Mayan ruins in the Yucatan is a must. There are two such ruins near the hunting area. Edzna and Hochob are just a short drive away and offer a unique look into the past Mayan civilization that existed for over 3000 years.

Fishing
We would be happy to arrange trips to the small town of Champoton, Campeche where the mouth of the Champoton river meets the Gulf of Mexico. About 1.5 hours from camp, this shallow water fishery is home to Tarpon, Snook and Barracuda. Fernando Sansores, owner at Snook Inn Fishing can accommodate up to 3 fisherman on his daily charters.    For more information contact Fernando on Facebook.
